Man arrested after "knife possession" drama in Lochee - The Courier

a man has been arrested in reference to possessing a knife on a Dundee residential highway.

Police rushed to Saggar street in Pentland following "alarm" from the public over the incident, which took place at around 12.10pm.

A Police Scotland spokesman referred to: "the person was traced by means of specialist officers in Benvie street a short time later and has been arrested.

"members of the general public have been alarmed by the incident however unhurt.

"Inquiries into the complete cases are ongoing."

A video, understood to be of the incident, became uploaded to facebook shortly after the drama with eyewitnesses reporting a big police presence.
