Police shut Seagate, Dundee, all the way through rooftop drama - The Courier

Police in Dundee closed the Seagate to site visitors on Sunday morning after  a man changed into considered on the roof of a building.

Eyewitnesses referred to the person changed into on the roof above The Bush Bar around eleven.30am.

It is thought the person can also have fled onto the roof of the constructing in a bid to evade police.

Officers closed the street whereas they handled the incident.

Scottish hearth and Rescue despatched an aerial to help in bringing the man down.

For a time he may be considered from road level sitting on the roof.

Police cleared the road almost immediately after midday in order to convey the man down from his rooftop perch.

The street was cleared as he was referred to to be "too embarrassed" to be brought down in entrance of onlookers.
